How To Save A Relationship
If your relationship is on the rocks, and you'd like to get your ex back, there are seven different things you shouldn't do at any cost. These items shouldn't be done in normal life, but even more in a relationship that's on the rocks.
Although there is never a foolproof plan to get your ex back, there are several things that you can do and avoid doing, in order to make the relationship better.
It's very important to have trust in a relationship, and lying about any part of the relationship to someone else or even to your ex themselves, is not going to work. Work very hard not to spin extravagant tales, make sure that you're speaking the truth about things that happened, and if you're not sure, don't be afraid to say I don't know. I don't know is always better than a lie, and lying deteriorates a relationship, and that'll be the end of that.
Another one that you shouldn't do when your relationship is on the rocks is clinging or pestering. It's important to respect boundaries and give each other a bit of breathing space. Often times absence makes the heart grow fonder, and pestering your ex in any way at all, is only going to make them withdraw further.
Jealousy can only hurt a relationship. Whether it's you who are jealous or you're trying to make your ex jealous, it's only going to compound any problems you are having. Again, trust is important in a relationship and jealousy is a part of life to a certain extent, but overblown jealousy, or trying to make someone else jealous, just doesn't work in a relationship.
Make sure that you're not using overkill in an effort to get your ex back. Basically, don't be overly dramatic, don't be pleading, don't beg, and as hard as it might be, don't pester your ex. Whining, crying, or other extreme emotions often will make your partner withdraw. Be sure to be honest and fair and show your emotions, but don't go to extremes.
It may be possible for some people to enjoy being bought, but most people don't. Don't get into the groove of buying your ex a multitude of items, after all, you don't want them to love you for what you can give them materially, you want to be loved for yourself.
Of course, tears are okay in certain situations, but crying uncontrollably, pleading, begging, or other extreme sadness is not going to work, chances are it'll make it worse. Again, make sure that your emotions are real but not overly dramatic.
Often times we're tempted to use our friends to help communication issues. Using other people not only can lose your friends, but isn't going to help the relationship at all.
By avoiding these seven simple items that should be avoided any time in your life, but especially in a relationship, there is a chance that this type of relationship advice can help you get your ex back.
